WHAT WE BELIEVE
WE BELIEVE in the divine Godhead or the Holy Trinity as the only true and living, Almighty God. The Lord our God is one, eternally existent in three persons: GOD the Father, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Ghost
WE BELIEVE in God the Father as the 1st person of the divine Trinity. He is the mind, intelligence, will and head of The Godhead. He is the master planner, designer and creator of all things that did, does, or ever will exist. He is perfect in holiness, love and sovereignty. He is to be worshipped and adored above all other beings.
WE BELIEVE in God the Son, who is the 2nd person of the divine Trinity. He is the express image of The Godhead, bodily. He is the life, love, grace, mercy and truth of God. He is the head of The Church. He is preexistent with and eternally existent within the Godhead and since the time of his immaculate conception and birth He is forevermore in human bodily form, now glorified. Issued out of and from God the Father, He is of the same substance, mind, nature, power and authority of The Father. He is equal with and to God the Father and thus equally worthy of worship and adoration.
WE BELIEVE in God the Holy Ghost or God the Holy Spirit as the 3rd person of the divine Trinity. He is the living energy, power force and executor of the will and mind of The Godhead. He works in the hearts of humanity and is the sustainer of order in the universe. He is the gift of God to mankind to restore the right and loving relationship between God and mankind and to empower effective witnessing of the Gospel of Jesus, Christ. Issued out of and from God the Father, He is of the same substance, mind, nature, power and authority of The Father and The Son. He is equal with and to God the Father and God the Son and thus equally worthy of worship and adoration.
WE BELIEVE the holy scriptures, as presented in the Protestant Holy Bible, contain doctrinally infallible written messages from God to humanity. We believe that the New Covenant/Testament is superior to the Old Testament and that any teaching and doctrines found in the Old way must now be viewed through the New lens. We believe that the message and power of God to salvation is fully contained and conveyed within its verses and permeates through to the human heart, regardless of human error in preservation, conservation, translation or difficulty of languages.
WE BELIEVE in salvation as the rescuing of mankind from the power and penalty of sin which leads to eternal destruction. We believe that Jesus’ death on the cross paid in full for salvation and that His resurrection secured that salvation once and for all. We believe that salvation is only attainable through repentance and faith in Jesus, Christ alone; one must truly believe in their heart and confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and all that the scriptures teach concerning who He is.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the dead. The blessed who die in Christ will rise again in Christ, incorruptible and eternally in His image to receive their work’s reward: life, joy, peace and supreme blessedness for all eternity. Those who died rejecting Christ will rise again to receive The Great White Throne judgement and be sentenced to eternal damnation: ever separated from the love, light and life of God.
WE BELIEVE in miracles as divine acts of love and mercy from Almighty God. We believe God to be omniscient, omnipresent and fully able to overcome the powers of darkness and sin in this world to relieve His children of any physical, mental and spiritual ailments; anywhere, anytime.
WE BELIEVE in the power of prayer: prayer is the communion a believer shares with Almighty God and is the chief tool used by God to transform the believer into a sanctified, holy and impactful witness. We believe there is no distance in prayer; and that the effectual, fervent prayers of a righteous person avails much.
WE BELIEVE in the rapture, or the being caught away of the Church. We believe Christ will make His dramatic entrance into earth’s atmosphere and call to Himself, first those who have died believing in Him; and then those who are alive, believing in Him.
WE BELIEVE in Heaven as the eternal throne and abode of God and the New Jerusalem, which will come down from Heaven, will soon be the new home of the Saints. We believe that entrance into this holy place is only attained by coming through Jesus, Christ; the Door.
WE BELIEVE in Hell (the temporary tormenting place of the dead who are unsaved) and The Lake of Fire, or the Second Death, as eventually the final, eternal abode of the damned; fallen with Satan and his angels. We believe entrance into this unholy place is only attained by rejecting Jesus, Christ who makes every effort in appearing unto all men.
WE BELIEVE in the all-encompassing love of God for His beloved mankind. We believe that no human is beyond the reach of God’s love and its transforming power: thus, having an inherent right to praise and adore him, and for those who know Him, to worship Him. We believe Jesus’ promise to reject no human who comes to Him and therefore must be accepted by the Church as is.
